A collaborative trip covering three tiers of cities exploring trade opportunity, cultural exchange and agribusiness initiatives
Over one week delegates will tour across three tiers of cities including Shanghai, Nanjing & Haimen. The delegation includes;
- Site visit to one of China's largest distribution centres
- Retail tour and introductions of supermarkets selling Victorian produce
- Port & harbor tour
- Visit to Modern Agriculture Showroom
- Tour of Chinese spirit manufacturer (sorghum based)
- Introductions to government officials and potential trade partners
A mixed purpose tour including other organisation from across our region who have interests in logistics, infrastructure (bridges), regional airports, major investment, agribusiness, city activation and town planning.

Mon 3 April- Full Day with Brisbane City Council including Rivercat tour exploring the BCC Riverfront Engagement Strategy, South Bank Precinct, Mall Activation Strategy, Precinct Planning & Activation
Tue 4 April- Full Day
Morning- Toowoomba Surat Basin Enterprise & Food Leaders Australia to understand their enterprise model, agribusiness (mining & manufacturing) collaboration, value-adding, research partnerships, international engagement strategy and more.
Afternoon- Visit Australia's newest self-funded $200m regional airport- Toowoomba West- Wellcamp Airport
Meet and speak with airport owner and developer John Wagner to understand the vision of the airport, stages of development & engagement, planning behind the industrial precinct and its activity, and how they secured an international freight opportunity with Cathay Pacific. This visit is unique.

Following an inbound delegation hosting a Hot Pot franchise of over 850 restaurants, we have been invited to explore the supply-chain of this organisation, as well as being introduced to other agribusiness opportunities.
